Hello geeks, Today I am going to share a tutorial on how to install Arduino IDE. Here I have installed it on ubuntu 18.04 LTS (if you are using a latest or older version of Linux, you don’t need to worry, just follow steps.) and if you are window user then click here…
Before the installation process let’s see what is actually Arduino stands for? And the answer is Arduino is an open-source hardware prototype platform used for electronic projects. Here we take input from outside environment using sensors like thermal sensor, motion detector, light detector, humidity sensor, others inputs source can be( a twitter message or other social media platform ping) and convert these inputs to produce output such as display input data on output devices or controlling servo motor speed, or turning LED on/off or publishing something on internet. These all can be done… we just need to know two things Arduino programming language(based on wiring and project need) and Arduino software(IDE), based on processing.
So without taking more time let’s see how to install Arduino IDE.
Step 1: Open your terminal using the shortcut key (ctrl + alt + t) or by usual way.
Step 2: Enter the following command to check if it is installed or not. If it is not then follow
Step 3: Now, enter the below command and enter the password if asked.
sudo apt install arduino
Step 4: Then press Y to download directories and the installation process begins from here.
Step 5: Congrats your Arduino IDE is installed. To open IDE enter the following command.
Step 6: To uninstall Arduino IDE enter the following command in the
